Birendra Kumar manages the AIF of Blackstone Tactical Opportunities, Singapore, as Executive Director. He was Senior Advisor, Duff & Phelps India Private Limited.
Mr. Kumar is on the Board as an Independent Director and Chairman of Advait ARC Pvt Ltd. He was Non-executive Vice Chairman on the Board of International Asset Reconstruction Company Private Limited (IARC). As founder Managing Director & CEO, he was instrumental in raising equity and two Funds with domestic and international investors and third Fund with Blackstone Tactical Opportunities.
Mr. Kumar has been a career banker with over five decades of diverse experience in commercial, credit, investment & international banking. He has been the Dep. Ashish Kehair is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nuvama Wealth Management (formerly Edelweiss Securities Limited). Being a key member of the Executive Committee, he has been instrumental in formulating the strategic direction of the business. He has helped co-create and drive the business strategy while geographically expanding the wealth management segment.
With over 23 years of experience in the financial services sector, Ashish has strategized and executed full advisory processes, customer-focused asset allocation and profiling models. He was associated with IDFC Bank as Head – Wealth Management & Private Banking – Third Party Products and was part of the Senior Management team that was significant in building differentiated franchises across all segments of the Bank. His past associations include ICICI Securities Ltd, ICICI Bank & TAIB Bank E.C. (Asset Management).
Throughout his career, Ashish has been involved in diverse areas of finance including, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investment Structuring, Venture Capital and the Private Equity domain.
Ashish is a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant & Cost Accountant.

Mr. Shiv Sehgal
Executive Director
Shiv Sehgal is President and Head, Nuvama Capital Markets. In this role, Shiv provides leadership to one of India’s largest equity franchises and is responsible for the Capital Markets businesses which includes Institutional Equities (covering sales, research and trading) and Asset Services.
Shiv has worked in the investment management and financial services industry for close to two decades, the majority of which has been in emerging market funds in the pan-Asia markets. Prior to his current role, Shiv led the Goldman Sachs Institutional Sales Trading, Equity Capital Markets business in India, responsible for the firm’s franchise relationships. Shiv was also appointed to the Goldman Sachs India board to oversee day to day operations and provide executive leadership on various firm committees. Before joining Goldman Sachs, India, and NBS, Shiv was CEO of Artha Capital, Singapore.
Shiv has extensive experience of working in long-short emerging market hedge funds in Sydney and Singapore. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, USA and holds a Masters in Banking and Finance from Griffith University, Brisbane.

Mr. Nikhil Srivastava

Mr. Srivastava joined PAG in April 2019 and is the Managing Director and head of India Private Equity at PAG. Prior to joining PAG, Mr. Srivastava has almost a decade of experience at Kohlberg, Kravis and Roberts (“KKR”), with a breadth of global experience where he has evaluated a wide range of investment opportunities across India, Singapore and the United States. Additionally, he was the head of KKR’s special situations and healthcare private equity group in India. Mr. Srivastava has also worked at Goldman Sachs and Co. Inphi Corporation in California.
Nikhil Srivastava has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ramesh Abhishek has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Finance and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. In 1982, Mr. Abhishek joined the Indian Administrative Service, Bihar Cadre and was also the Chairman of the Forwards Markets Commission from August 2011 to August 2015.
Mr. Abhishek worked in various capacities across the civil services including serving as a district magistrate in Bihar, a director in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and as a secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.

Navtej S. Nandra has over three decades of experience. Mr. Nandra is Senior Independent Director of OakNorth Bank, a distinguished Visiting Fellow at the National University of Singapore and also serves on boards of the Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO), and the Centre for Asset Management Research and Investments (CAMRI). Additionally, he is also a senior advisor to Insight Guru.
Mr. Nandra’s work experience includes President of E*TRADE Financial, CEO of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Ltd., senior roles at DTZ Holdings, Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, Merrill Lynch Global Investment Banking, Cambridge Group and BoozAllen and Hamilton. Rahul Jain heads Nuvama Wealth, the wealth management business for salaried professionals and HNIs. He started his journey with the company in 2008 as a Zonal Business Head and today has over 14 years of professional experience in driving new business lines as well as growing existing ones.
A firm believer in customer centricity, he has been credited for evolving the retail advisory business into a full-fledged wealth management business. An innovator at the core, he explored products like mutual funds, insurance, real estate, currency, ESOP funding, structured products, bonds etc. and has enabled the business to offer multi-asset value proposition to its customers.
In his previous roles, Rahul headed the retail broking division of ABN AMRO India, and ICICI Bank as Regional Product Manager – Broking.
Rahul is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from IMT Ghaziabad with specialization in Finance.

Alok Saigal is President and Head of Private Wealth at Nuvama Wealth Management (formerly known as Edelweiss Securities Limited). Alok joined the company in 2014 and has been a key leader in the transformation and scale up of the wealth business. He founded the Family Office practice, introduced Wealth Structuring and Estate Planning for ultra HNI customers and also oversaw the Products and Investment Advisory.
Alok has over 20 years of work experience. Prior to Edelweiss, Alok was associated with Darashaw. He set up and anchored the company’s business in Singapore with a focus on Wealth Management and strategic initiatives. Post this global exposure, he spearheaded the Investment Management and Private Client platform at Darashaw in Mumbai. He has also been associated with HDFC Bank where he looked after Funding & Banking Solutions for large Indian Corporates and MNCs as part of the corporate banking group.
Alok holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University.

Santosh joined the Edelweiss Group in 2007 as Senior Manager, Advisory in the PCG business. He has been the backbone in the transformation and scaling up of the business. With a comprehensive experience of 15 years in diverse fields like managing a branch/region, customer relationships, training people, acquiring clients and product development support, he has an exemplary track record of achieving targets by delivering impeccable consumer insights, portfolio optimization and market forecasting.
Prior to joining Edelweiss, Santosh worked with HDFC Securities, Karvy Stock Broking Firm & Gajanan Securities.

Anshu Kapoor heads the Asset Management business at Nuvama, where he leads initiatives to create an alternatives assets platform (private equity and hedge funds).
Anshu joined the Edelweiss Group in 2010 to start the private wealth business. Driven by a vision of creating “the world’s most customer-centric” wealth management business, Anshu grew the business 15x in 7 years, bringing the business to one of the top 3 positions in the industry.
Prior to joining the firm, Anshu was a Director at Merrill Lynch, where he was instrumental in developing the wealth management business across India, Middle East, Asia Pacific and North America. Anshu has also worked in leadership positions in consumer banking and capital markets with HSBC and ICICI Bank.
Anshu is passionate about scaling up businesses, technology and is an avid travel photographer. He is married with three kids.

He has successfully led over 400+ transactions across capital markets, private equity and M&A advisory.

In his last assignment, he was associated with Waterfield Advisors as Group CFO. Prior to this Mihir was the Group CFO & President of IIFL Wealth & Asset Management Ltd. where he was involved in the entire demerger process and transition of IIFL from an unlisted to a listed company. His earlier assignments include Group CFO and ED, Avendus Capital, founding member of ARCIL (the first ARC in the country) and various stints in the ICICI Group.

Riyaz has close to two and half decades of experience in banking and financial services. He has been with Edelweiss since 2014. He joined as a core member of the Wealth Management team and helmed the Advisory business in Private Wealth Management, where he was responsible for crafting unique solutions for the HNI group.
Prior to joining Edelweiss, he was associated with HDFC Bank for over 15 years where he worked in multiple roles in banking with extensive experience in Asset Product and Channel management, Capital markets, Treasury and Private Banking. His expertise lies in origination and deep understanding of client relationships.
Riyaz has rich experience of running large teams and the ability to take people along to drive timely execution. Over the years he has built long-lasting partnerships with his clients through his strong interpersonal skills.

Riyaz Ladiwala heads Group Technology and Operations at Nuvama, with close to 25 years in capital markets overseeing operations, technology, strategy and business across broking, research, financial planning, wealth and asset management. As Head – Group Technology and Operations, he is responsible for setting out the tech vision and its execution across all business verticals. His key priorities include building scale at the enterprise level and improving client experience.
Riyaz spent close to 13 years with the Group in many key roles such as COO – Retail Broking, Head – Technology – Wealth and Broking, and COO of the Asset Management business
Riyaz started his career in 1996 as an analyst with independent equity research house, Quantum Financial Services, leading technology and operations. Over 12 years, he transformed the organisation from the offline world into a digital powerhouse.
Riyaz holds an MBA in Finance from MET Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai along with degrees in Physics and Cost Accountancy.
